Linda Larsen, RN, NP-C
Linda Larsen, RN, NP-C joined Abilene Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center, PC in 2008 with over ten years experience. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas and received a Masters of Science in Nursing with honors at Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas.
Mrs. Larsen has been board certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center since 1998. During the ten years prior to joining Abilene Dermatology, she practiced dermatology at Dr. Craig Urban’s solo speciality practice in Abilene, Texas. She also is an active preceptor and mentor for Graduate Students, in the Patty Hanks Shelton School of Nursing at Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. Prior to specializing in the field of dermatology Mrs. Larsen served as Director of Surgical Services at Abilene Regional Medical Center in Abilene, Texas.
Mrs. Larsen’s practice consists of minor surgical proceduresincluding biopsies, excisions, electrodessication and curettage, milia extraction and incision and drainage. She performs full skin examinations and treats various general dermatologic conditions including acne, Rosacea, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis and warts.
A mother of two sons and a daughter, Mrs. Larsen and her husband live in Clyde, Texas and enjoy skiing, camping and raising cattle.
