Julie Carroll, NP-C

 

Julie Carroll grew up in Abilene, Texas and graduated from Wylie High School in 2006.  Julie attended Texas Tech University Health Science Center and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010.  Upon graduation from Texas Tech she married an Abilenian and moved back to her hometown.

 

Julie worked as a registered nurse at Hendrick Medical center for several years before she decided to go back to school to pursue her Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington.  She graduated with her Masters and became board certified by The American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2021.  Julie continued working at Hendrick Medical Center in general surgery for two years after graduating.  Julie has always had an interest in Dermatology and made the decision to join Abilene Dermatology in October, 2023 and loves working with this patient population.

 

Julie has been married to her husband Jerrod since 2011.  They have three boys Cooper, Camden, and Case.  They spend most of their days running from game to game watching their kids play sports year round.  When they do get time to travel they love to go to the mountains to ski or beach vacations with friends.
