Kristen Martinez, PA-C

 

Kristen Martinez is a certified physician assistant who joined Abilene Dermatology in November of 2023. She grew up in Abilene and graduated from Baylor University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology and a minor in Medical Humanities. She completed her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Harding University in 2015.

 

The first 4 years of Kristen’s career were spent in Fayetteville, Arkansas specializing in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. In 2020, Kristen and her family moved back home to Abilene to be closer to family, and she continued to work in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery at Hendrick Health System for 4 more years. Having had a strong interest in dermatology since her training, she is thrilled to be a part of the Abilene Dermatology family. Kristen is eager to continue to use her procedural skills and to foster new relationships with her patients. 

 

For Kristen, being back home has been an adventure and a blessing. She loves being a part of and serving the great people of the Texas Big Country!

 

Kristen is married to PJ Martinez and has two energetic little girls, Wiley and Mila. They enjoy traveling, being active, and spending time with family and friends.
